i've noticed that ive neglected this blog for a while but not without a justified reason! i've been traveling , working and this has really been the only free time that ive had apart from bathing, sleeping and bathroom breaks! But i will be back so just give me a little while longer my loves especially my friend Francesca who constantly reminds me that this type of behaviour is unacceptable.

i've just touched down in london after 10days in miami and i need to get back !!! i was meant to do this post ages ago but being the lazy individual that i am , i never got round to it. However when i heard this song a while back i feel in love with this dude! his songs have been playing non stop on my youtube playlist and after shots of patron in every club i hit i miami i seemed to be singing my heart away when i heard novocane .... i was told by a guy 'i may not have the stripper booty but i got a rack like wow' :/ i have no words ... anyway enough rambling turn it up and listen ( if parents are in close proximity when certain lyrics blare out lower the volume)!!!!

Just one of those [lazy]days

where has the sun gone? well the 'great british weather' just like some men are a great let down !! the gloomy, bleak weather just makes me feel depressed. I have no motivation to do anything. You get that feeling where you just want to curl up under the duvet, pop in a dvd, pralines and cream in one hand, cinema sweet popcorn in the other and just do absolutely nothing. i feel like have one of those days. And, whilst thinking about my perfect lazy day Bruno Mars Lazy Song was blasting through the speakers ...oooh i love a bit of mr mars his voice A.M.A.Z.I.N.G and he sounds even better live!

I did just that today ...well kind of ...run in the morning ( and to be honest why do i make a fool of myself time and time again running at peak times when teen boys and the builders want to chant stuff like oi! oi! phwoar! legs galore! and any other 'terms of endearment 'that they think will make me blush or bat an eyelid) ..coffee with an old friend later in the afternoon and a cheeky pie and mash for dinner. The pie and mash defeated the whole run but a girl's gotta eat!

The Costume Institute Gala, better known as the Met Ball , one of the most prestigious event in the fashion calendar, was thrown May 2nd, celebrating the opening of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's latest exhibition Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty. The fashion elite were out in full force. I have to say i was in L.O.V.E. ( a word i aimlessly throw around these days ) with Ginnifer Goodwin's couture frock and had a fashiongasm lookign at the gowns. For those of us who wish to live the champagne lifestyle on lemonade money will be pleased to know that Jessica Szohr ditched the couture gown's for a shimmering lbd from TOPSHOP AW11 UNIQUE collection, plus a little birdie told me it will be available to buy around September. It'll be handbags at dawn when this little beauty is released.

Aside from fashion, frappucino's, a cup of tea and rich tea biscuits another great love of mine is nail varnish!!! an addiction that i have to say i change my nail colour pretty much every other day. Sad but true. I stumbled across the video on TOPSHOP's official blog and tried it out myself. I won't post the pictures because i smudged three nails on each hand and in a huff (and embarrassment) just went back to one single colour; neon pink as you do! lol

i haven't seen my non blondes for ages! however last week wednesday we decided to have a little get together, do something different. Relive those childhood memories and stroll down to London Zoo! i'm not gonna lie i had the time of my life (again...i don't know how many times i said that as a child). Had a little picnic in the park afterwards, attacked by some wasps, laughed till we cried but its what we all needed due to uni &work stress. Hoever slightly disappointed that i didn't get to see the giraffes and there are no elephants at zsl :(  All i know is your never too old for the zoo.

i've been up to my eyeballs in work, partying (not the bump and grind type more sitting at restaurants), lunches and brunches and therefore have neglected the blog. Apologies. i have on the other hand finally bought a new camera but as you know i don't know how to work anything technical so bear with me. The lack of photo updates is due to my bank account laughing at me and moths fluttering out my purse. Redecorating my room means that my clothes are in boxes and i should have thought this through a little better. I need a vacation!!! Sun,sea,sand (though i can't swim and i get bored easily) but a change of scenery is needed.Bring on MIAMI ooooh the cocktails, parties ,the men (cue drooling) MAY 31ST HURRY UP!!!

Living a champagne life on tesco value money is so not the one for a postgrad ....stumbled into primark today and it was fate ... a size 10 dangling on the jumper rail and it was mine! i charged to the till and crossed my fingers praying that once i punched in my pin my card would not scream DECLINED. One of the many purchases i made today. My mums reaction to tut and shake her head and to be honest i've had to move my clothes to the spare bedroom wardrobe because there is not enough room which is getting ridiculous some items have not seen sunlight and others collecting dust with the tags still on. SHAMEFUL BEHAVIOUR. dont judge me..
