mellow yellow....

Day 2 of my work experience at closer fashion and beauty dept and i'm having so much fun!!! i feel that i've neglected the blog as my uploads of photos have not gone according to plan . I felt like updating my outfit today. Sometimes even though i look overdressed its what i do. I hate sticking to daywear/nightwear, putting things into catergories ..i just wear whatever whenever. My yellow coat which i love has become a little trademark for me. In the bustle of london's busy streets covent garden, holborn, oxford street i'm like where's wally! you just spot a dash of yellow amongst a mass of black and grey. My pegleg trousers (though slightly jacked-up more than anticipated -the price you pay for long legs) were bought at £5! i know! i know! thats more than a bargain my belt ...50p oh how i love sales! underneath my leather jacket and my body. It's May and london feels like winter my poor ankles could not escape the weather!!! in my lunch break i did a spot of shopping. Finally bought a beige mac... after months of anticipation. Might have to wear that tomorrow, plannig outfit for day 3 as we speak!!!!........Less than a week to my party ..no dress.. no shoes !!!

MR T.......

After posting a blog about menswear ...i suddenly became addicted. Whilst reading a few blogs i stumbled across Ty Shaw aka Mr. Talented. His style in one word, Amazing and he designed these little dickie bow ties which i am absolutely in love with. Also 50% of all the proceeds are going to help children in Haiti affected by the recent earthquake. These quirky designs scream raw talent and i have to say i want one myself!!!

all mouth...

MUST.HAVE.TOM.FORD.LIPSTICK!!
recently i have developped an uncanny addiction for lipstick to the point where yesterday i popped into mac as im not your typical make-up type addict eyeliner and mascara and a little carmex is as far as i go. But yesterday i bought...not one ...not two ...but THREE LIPSTICKS !!! and i've just seen these by tom ford ...and i'm in love ! the man has no limitations to how genius he is! Tom Ford Private Blend Lip Colour hits stores May 15th.The lipsticks are to match the twelve scents in his Private Blend collection. Thanks to the little ingredients of Brazilian murumuru butter and chamomilla flower oil ...the lipsticks will have your lips feeling smooth ...Pucker up !

pretty pastels....

Hate it or love it ? i bought these new pastel colours, which looked great in the bottle and my reaction was different once i tried it out. My mum said hmmm which makes me like that the colours are different.. so lets see how it goes 5 new colours in 2days ...i have to stop !

topshop make-up launches !!!

Finally they have launched their make up line (it was about time!) eyeshadows, lipsticks and my weakness, nail varnish i have a strong  inkling the new line will be a success and with reasonable prices it would be silly not to treat yourself !

i get by with a lil help from my friends ....

1 day since the end of my englsih ba degree, i feel, relieved , emotional and after 6 days with a total of 4hrs sleep , i needed to celebrate. My three fashionistas (jasveen, kanita and tracey) and myself decided to celebrate in style shopping, food at a nice mexican restaurant (some alcoholic beverages were well deserved) and more shopping. The street style we saw was amazing but wheres a camera when you need one ? so looks like i really should carry  it all the time (personal note to myself)Thanks for the support chicas over these last couple of stressful days .... i love you guys
