La vie de Laurent

i constantly keep on planning visits to Paris but for some reason i never follow through. Since hearing about Yves Saint Laurent exhibition at the Petit Palais, i'm feeling to break my spending ban and purchase a Eurostar ticket to Paris to see the work of of Laurent- that's a justifiable excuse i'd say! Of course it wouldn't be the same as viewing his work in person but the book is the most creative way of seeing how Yves Saint Laurent became one of the most renown and distinctive designers of the twentieth century and we are able to experience LA VIE DE LAURENT and the unveiling of his ground breaking design LE SMOKING TUXEDO. Pierre Berge once said: "Chanel liberated the woman, but Yves Saint Laurent gave them power.' The book also looks back on his life at Christian Dior to his  prêt a porter shop on the Rive Gauche. The exhibition started on the 11 March and ends 29 August. Tickets are 11 euros so that's a little bargain! So a mini break to paris after all this stress ( and to celebrate turning 21 in style -because your only young and 21 once) oui, s'il vous plait!!!
